Now I'm not much on those redneckin' lovemakin' types, you know those that have a chaw? of chewing tobacco in their mouths,(tastes awful) but I do love a muscular man. Yes, I turn to jelly!

Babs. How do you describe her? As she told me she wants on her tombstone, she is a "Walking Contradiction." On her post at DBS she had a link to her old blog. I had completely forgotten about that blog. Just killing time, this morning, as I'm still waiting to have my turn in the shower (he's so slow in the morn)I read a few posts.
I knew Babs long ago. I've known her for about 20+ years maybe more but i'd have think. Babs was not a nice girl and there were even times I would get so pissed off at what she was doing and I wouldn't talk to her. She knows this especially back when she was doing heroin. I hated that babs. Before that she drank to much. I didn't like this babs to much either. we did have some good times but other times could be bad. She would get into fights and I would tell her the next day that she ruined our night out. I might not talk to her for a hot minute but eventually I'd come back around. I'd forgive her and move on. Babs had to learn all things the hard way i suppose. It hurt me cut me deep when she went to prison but it saved her life. It made her who she is today. She might be pissed at me for saying all this but it won't be the first or the last time. will it barbara? I've not set eyes on her for a while and I miss her. yes babs i do love you and always always will.Reading her stuff makes me think. she wrote this as a comment to a family member and this made me think:

OK Sweety. Reality. Some people have it all in this world. Some of us don't have a pot to piss in. It is good to strive to be in the middle cause anything else is just gravy. Don't expect it and it won't [be] a disappointment. Aim high but stay low, don't ever be pretentious and things will fall into place. Don't sweat the small shit and it's all small shit.Very important. But equally important, don't wait for anybody to save your ass. You are alone. Whomever you choose to cushion your world with, [it]is a bonus but don't count on it. Have a higher power. Gay or not, God knows who you are and loves you. Does he make mistakes, I think not and he created you in his image. It is deviant behavior that he doesn't like and you know what I'm talking about, those nasty trollups.

Fail to plan, plan to fail but don't obsess. Don't be lazy. If something needs to be done that's important, you'll feel much better getting it done, [then]you can breathe. But the fucking dishes can wait when it's time to enjoy what life's really all about: Love, Laughter and Family.
